Task 1.1 – Experimental and analytical study of a cold-flow combustor with virtual flame

In task 1.1 of the TANGO Network project, a rig with a “virtual flame” will be built. Simultaneous measurements with multiple pressure transducers will be undertaken to determine the impedance of the virtual flame. PIV will be used to visualise the velocity filed. The experimental studies of the virtual flame impedance will be supplemented with powerful analytical methods, in particular the Wiener-Hopf technique.
