Paula Martínez Lera obtained a PhD from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2010. She carried out most of her PhD research in the framework of the Marie Curie Research Training Network AETHER (FP6), which focused on aero- and thermo-acoustical instabilities. During this time, she was based at Siemens PLM Software, where currently she works as a Senior research engineer. Her research aims at developing methods for aeroacoustic predictions based on acoustic analogies and numerical techniques.
