Inaugural GPPS Forum

The Global Power and Propulsion Society (GPPS) is a new volunteer-led international community for rotating machinery professionals in industry and academia, www.pps.global/index.html#home. Its aim is to provide an environment for professionals to meet and exchange research results and ideas, with specific focus on power generation and propulsion systems. The inaugural lecture of the GPPS will be held from 16 – 18 January 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. Authors are invited to submit abstracts by 1 August 2016.

NOVEM 2018

This conference will be held in Ibiza, Spain, from 7 to 9 May 2018. The aim of the conference is to give an account of emerging technologies in the fields of structural vibration, vibro-acoustics, flow-induced noise & vibration, and noise & vibration control. The deadline for abstract submission is 15 October 2017.

InterNoise 2017

This conference will be held in Hong Kong, from 27 to 30 August 2017. The conference theme is “Taming Noise and Moving Quiet”, and there will be a focus on noise control in urban areas. The deadline for abstract submission is 10 March 2017, and the deadline for paper submission is 27 May 2017.

International Congress on Sound and Vibration 2017

This congress will be held in London, from 23 to 27 July 2017. The ICSV is a leading event in the area of acoustics and vibration and provides an important opportunity for scientists and engineers to share their latest research results and exchange ideas on theories, technologies and applications in these fields. As in previous years, the ICSV24 will feature a broad range of technical papers from across the world. The deadline for abstract submission is 1 December 2016. Peer review of contributed papers is available as an option selected by the author.

Workshop on Measurement Techniques and Analysis Methods for Aircraft Noise

This workshop is organised by the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, University of Southampton, and will be held there from 7 – 8 September 2016. It focuses on novel experimental and analytical methods to quantify aircraft noise. The deadline for abstract submission is 15 June 2016.
