Siemens Industry Software GmbH

Siemens Industry Software GmbH is a German engineering innovation and software/services company that belongs to the Siemens group. It is active in fluid dynamics and aeroacoustics, amongst other fields. Formerly known as CD-adapco before being acquired by Siemens in 2016, it provides simulation software and engineering solutions related to numerical modelling and design optimization. At the time of acquisition, CD-adapco employed about 900 people, with about 100 in Germany. Since 2016, it has been a part of the Simulation and Test Business Segment of Siemens PLM Software Business Unit.
