Sightseeing in Belgium around Networking Week #3
23-31 October 2021, Belgium
The POLKA Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) met in person at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. October 2021 was the first opportunity for (the majority of) them to meet again and explore the culture of one of the POLKA Beneficiary countries. The local ESRs, Simone and Alex, were on hand with suggestions for where to visit, eat and drink both locally (highlights from Leueven are here) and around the rest of Belgium. The ESrs took advantage of their free time and the weekends to visit Brussels and Dinant.
